Official Training Courses satisfy the initial and continuation training standards as per State and Federal Guidelines, the U.S. Supreme Court, the European Union Police and Civilian Services Training (EUPCST) and are approved by the Department of Homeland Security Justice & Community Services, Law Enforcement Professional Standards (LEPS) Program - oversight of training and certification of Law Enforcement Officers, Code 30-29 et al and Legislative Rules CSR 149-2 et al.
K9 LEAP Grant Program Overview, supporting the mission of the USDOJ, DEA, and the ATF for local and municipal Law Enforcement Agencies.
The K9 LEAP Grant Program was developed to assist Law Enforcement Agencies overcome budget restrictions, and the often times overwhelming costs associated with acquiring and deploying Highly Skilled, Operationally Efficient and Effective Police Service K9's.
Funding assistance is available to approved Law Enforcement Agencies as outlined.

The K9 LEAP Grant is an internal Grant of $2,500.00 which is available based on Agency need. The grant allowance is applicable towards the purchase costs of the Canine, Training Course, Certification, and Equipment package from K9 Working Dogs International, LLC, for Law Enforcement Agencies that qualify:
If your Department or Agency is currently researching various K9 Grant resources available to Law Enforcement Agencies for the expansion of an existing K9 Unit, or is interested in implementing a K9 Unit, we suggest applying immediately for the K9 LEAP Grant! If you are currently raising funds for a K9, or will be in the next 1-6 months, apply now, as Grant funding is available to Agencies that qualify on a first-come-first-serve approval process. If your State is not listed above in the K9 LEAP Grant Program availability, PLEASE contact us to request funding resources for Agencies in your State.
